VP Productions & Peng Sound Present:
The official Bristol launch party for the long awaited album ‘Brixton Rec’ by Dubkasm, released on Bristol Archive Records.
Friday 5th October 2012

Following up his full-length debut Love Remains back in 2010 — the album that put his pioneering brand of bleak and hazy R&B on the map, atmospheric crooner Tom Krell, aka How To Dress Well, will drop his new record Total Loss on September 17th internationally via Weird World. On the new album, Krell has emerged from behind the anaesthetic shroud, developing himself as a musician and allowing the listener to fully experience the heartbreakingly beautiful words in his sumptuous falsetto. Squired by The xx producer Rodaidh McDonald, the record transcends the lo-fi aesthetics of indie R&B and becomes a more nourishing high-end R&B, with skittish slow jams, string-laden hymns and neo-soul poetry. It’s a fantastic album that will undoubtedly be one of the best of the year. Stream Total Loss in its entirety below, ahead of its release date.
