Fink - Perfect Darkness (Close Remix)

Resisting classification, the music is located at some unspecified point between the bass heavy, propulsive rhythms of Scuba, the sparse, atmospheric broken beats of Appleblim and the deep, dubdisco sparkle of Ewan Pearson; just three of the names ‘Getting Closer’ features collaborations with. 

What I really like about this remix, is that Close has lost none of Fink’s incredible voice, something which unfortunately James Blake had done with the D’Angelo cover I posted previously.

His upcoming debut album ‘Getting Closer’ will feature collaborations and remixes of Scuba, Little Dragon and Joe Dukie from Fat Freddy’s Drop, one I’m particularly looking forward to hearing.
